John Bellamy is a composer, producer and sound designer.
John’s first full length stage musical, “You’ve Got Buckley’s Chance!” was co-written and directed by Uma Kali Shakti and starred Penny Day, Adam Kovaleskali and Adam Bowes premiered at the Sydney Fringe Festival.

Previous work of John’s was the musical film “Estelle’s Etoiles” (Estelle’s Stars) written and directed by Danielle Lauren (The Vagina Monologues) – a musical about a girl who couldn’t sing! Starring Brendan Maclean (Brendan Maclean, Velvet), Andrew Doyle and Teneale Clifford.
And “Trouble In The Band” Directed by Sophie Haylen starring Jack Michel, Christie Wykes, Denning Isles and Kieran “A breakup, a make up and a murder in 10 minutes – when music becomes a deadly game, friends and lovers are betrayed.”

John has previously worked as a composer, producer and sound designer for theatre and film, arranger, actor, director, sound recordist, voiceover artist, set dresser and props buyer, camera operator and worked on many TV commercials, and feature films.
John also produced and managed the band “ego” which was signed to ORiGiN Recordings.
John graduated with distinction in BMUS (Composition and Music Production) from the Australian Institute of Music, where he was granted a scholarship, and was on the dean’s honour roll. He won the state medal for music at TAFE, having earlier graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from Macquarie University with a major in film, television and drama.
